'06 Mercury Mariner

Both drivers and critics praise the 2006 Mercury Mariner for its sleek exterior, which evokes the feeling of the entire Mercury family of vehicles. There is a waterfall grille, complimented by clear projector headlights and fog lamps.

The 2006 Mariner also features a U-shaped filtered, which is designed to aid in the definition of the front fascia. There are side body cladding panels which are color-keyed and feature chip and ding protection. In addition, the 2006 Mariner comes complete with turn signal repeater lamps, mounted on the fenders, in the European style.

There is a keypad for keyless entry on the driver’s door, the wheels are aluminum and equipped for sixteen inch tires. The 2006 Mercury Mariner also comes standard with completely independent suspension. In addition to three different styles and levels of trim, there is a Moon and Tune package, which features a powered moon roof, a roof rack, satellite radio, and a six-disc CD changer located right in the dashboard.

Based on the Ford Escape, the 2005 Mercury Mariner finds its success thanks to the overwhelming popularity of sport utility vehicles which are also compact, because they are easier to control and park, thanks to their small size.

The 2005 Mariner is lighter and much more fuel efficient, not to mention far less expensive than its larger SUV counterparts. However, it also comes equipped with plenty of space, as well as seats that fold down to produce even more room for cargo.

The 2005 Mercury Mariner is praised for its smooth handling, as well as the availability of a V6 engine. This car comes with standard two wheel drive as well as a four cylinder engine, but it is also easy – and affordable – to upgrade it to all wheel drive. Inside, wood and sleek metal accents compliment the two tone design, and with things like a satin aluminum knob on the gearshift and dark great faces on the instrument dials, the interior of the 2005 Mariner does very well to live up to the promise of the classy, defined exterior.

2006 Mercury Mariner

Drivers love the 2006 Mercury Mariner in part because its interior is the perfect compliment for its sleek but efficient exterior. In fact, if anything, the interior offers even more luxury than the exterior implies.

The 2006 Mercury Mariner features aluminium shined to a satin like finish. As a matter of fact, the only things inside the 2006 Mariner which do not boast a satin finish are the chrome accents which abound around the door handles and the shift lever.

Combined together, the two materials give the inside of the 2006 Mariner a sleek, sophisticated look, which speaks of a refinement and a class not normally seen in such a remarkably affordable and efficient vehicle. Leather and wood grain trim aid in this feeling of sophistication and class.

In addition, the instrument panel is wonderfully high-tech, featuring everything from a battery indicator dial to an optional Hybrid Energy Audio system and Navigational system. Both of these rely on a state of the art color screen.
